Aspirations for 2021

December 11, 2020

Alyson G. ShafferM.Ed. BCBA Owner

With only a few weeks left in the year 2020, I have spent some time reflecting on my thoughts for the year 2021. With every new year, I set new goals and challenges for myself and for Solving Autism.  My first goal for the new year is to kick off our Social Skills groups for various ages and ability levels, group parent training, and sibling support groups.

My second is to become credentialed as a Behavioral Health Center of Excellence (BHCOE).  This process, while a daunting task, is helping to make us more accountable and to ensure that all of our staff are property trained and certified.

My third and final goal for the year 2021 is to continue to hire amazing BCBA’s and RBT’s to our team, so that we do not have to tell families that we have a wait list.  Children need services now, not in 6 months.  The younger a child begins in ABA, the better the outcome.  It breaks my heart for a family to have to wait to receive the services their child needs.
